Catering & Healthy Eating

At Uxbridge High School we aim to provide your child with the best education and support possible. Healthy school food has obvious health benefits and can help students establish healthy habits for life. Healthy school food can also help to improve students’ readiness to learn.

We use a cashless catering system and it is important that you activate your ParentPay account, as soon as possible, after your child has started at Uxbridge High School.  If you use ParentPay for more than one child, their accounts can be merged to one log in.

Culinera is our catering provider. Please click the link to find out more, and for further information on the new catering offer.

Free School Meals

Families that are in receipt of certain benefits may be eligible for free school meals. Please apply for free school meals here. Even if you’re not sure if you are eligible, please fill in the form - if you are not currently eligible, by completing the form now, the school will be alerted at a future date if you were to become eligible.

If your child is eligible for free school meals, this will also raise an extra £955 for the school in the form of the pupil premium grant. This additional funding is provided by the DfE to the school for every child who is eligible for free school meals, or has been eligible for free schools at any point in the past 6 years. This grant is used to support eligible students in various ways such as reduced costs of school trips, additional resources, addition activities, etc. (details on how this funding is spent can be found on the school website here). Whilst the pupil premium funding cannot be paid directly to parents or carers, it makes a big difference to the school and eligible pupils. We therefore urge all parents to complete this form even if your child does not take a free school meal.
