Subject Overview:
This popular course is designed to give students a good understanding of the dynamic environment in which businesses operate. It also gives students an understanding of business activities across all types of businesses and focuses on the inter-relationship of business departments and how businesses work to achieve their aims. The course includes contextual learning, including the role of people in these organisations and what is meant by context in business.

GCSE Business ideally leads to Business Studies or Economics A level – an excellent preparation for students seeking employment and/or going to university. Most students go on to university and study Business-related degrees such as Business Management, Law, Economics and Business Decision Making.
