Mosaic Group Mentoring

The programme is sponsored by the Princes Charles Trust and In The Community We Trust

Young people will be mentored in groups to participate in a range of activities, which will directly enhance their ability to compete in future educational and professional environments.  As well as the mentoring sessions, core elements of this programme are an inspirational speaker presentation at our school and a World of Work visit for young people completing the programme.

Additional benefits of participating in this programme include:

• engagement for our school in local and national high-profile opportunities wherever possible (such as visits to external partners, bringing VIPs to the school, public relations and press opportunities etc.)
• support for the school by providing opportunities for parental engagement via Mosaic sessions/events i.e. all parents could be invited to any assemblies with inspirational speakers, certificate-giving ceremonies etc.

Sixth Form students had their first mentoring session on Tuesday 8th February and are eagerly anticipating the next one. All students thoroughly enjoyed the experience and took away lots of great information and advice, which they will seek to use in the coming weeks.
