Looking Ahead to Open Evening

In this week’s Principal’s Vlog, Ms Seymour discusses the upcoming Open Evening, the importance of communication between school, students and parents, and how our whole community can make the most of everything Uxbridge High School has to offer.

With Open Evening fast approaching on Monday 21 September, we look forward to welcoming prospective families, as well as parents of current students who may wish to see how the school has developed since their child joined us.

Parents of Year 5 and Year 6 students who are considering Uxbridge High School are warmly invited to attend and discover more about our school, meet our students and speak with members of staff.

 

Working Together Through Communication

Ms Seymour also highlights the importance of strong communication between students, parents and the school.

Parents are encouraged to stay informed and make use of the different opportunities available to engage with the school. This includes visiting the school website, exploring the frequently asked questions section, attending engagement events and using the parent app to contact the school with questions or concerns.

Open and constructive communication helps ensure that everyone is working together in the best interests of our young people. The school community plays an important role in supporting students to achieve success both inside and outside the classroom.

 

Making the Most of Life at Uxbridge High School

As we begin a new academic year, students and families are encouraged to make the most of the many opportunities available at Uxbridge High School.

Parents can take an active interest in their child's experience by asking about their post and prep books, new subjects and options, enrichment activities and how they are settling into the new academic year.

Our weekly enrichment showcased a wide range of new clubs and activities, providing students with even more opportunities to develop their interests, build confidence and become involved in school life.

 

A Community Working Together

The year ahead brings many exciting opportunities for our students and the wider Uxbridge High School community. By staying engaged, communicating with the school and taking advantage of the opportunities available, we can work together to ensure every young person gets the most from their time at Uxbridge High School.
