Principals Weekly Update

End of Half Term Vlog: Celebrating Success and Looking Ahead
In this week’s vlog, Louisa Seymour, Principal, reflects on a positive and successful half term, thanking students, parents, carers and staff for their continued support in building our school community.
A Huge Thank You to Our School Community
As we reach the end of another busy half term, our principal shares a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has contributed to the positive culture at Uxbridge High School. From supporting excellent attendance and engagement to embracing routines such as Post and Prep and attending school events, the collaboration between home and school continues to play a vital role in helping our students succeed.
Introducing Our New Year Group Newsletters
This half term sees the introduction of our new year group newsletters. These will celebrate the achievements and activities taking place across each year group, alongside important reminders and practical advice to help families support their child’s progress.
The newsletters are another way we are strengthening communication between school and home. Parents and carers are encouraged to share feedback with their child’s year team to help shape future editions.
Making the Most of Uxbridge High School
Looking ahead to next half term, our principal highlights the many ways parents and carers can help their children make the most of their time at Uxbridge High School. This includes engaging with Post and Prep, the Arbor app, enrichment opportunities, school events and trips.
There is also a special mention for our Year 7 students, who have made a fantastic start to life at Uxbridge High School. Their positive transition into secondary school and their commitment to our Gold Standards are a credit to both the students themselves and the families who have supported them.
Looking Ahead to Next Half Term
We look forward to welcoming everyone back on Tuesday 3 November for another exciting and busy half term.
Thank you once again for your continued support, collaboration and commitment to our school community. We wish all our students and families a restful and enjoyable half-term break!
