Valencia Adventures: A Memorable Half Term for Year 9 & 10

Over the half-term break, a group of our Year 9 and 10 students had the incredible opportunity to explore Valencia, Spain. The trip was filled with exciting cultural experiences, hands-on learning, and unforgettable memories.
Students wandered through the vibrant Old Town, browsed the bustling Central Market, visited the historic bull ring, and watched a live Flamenco show in the heart of the city. They truly immersed themselves in Spanish life, trying local dishes like paella and tapas, practising their language skills with locals, and sharing new experiences with their peers.
Other highlights included a tour of Valencia’s famous football stadium, a sunny afternoon at the beach, and a visit to the breathtaking City of Arts and Sciences and Europe’s largest aquarium.
It was wonderful to see our students so engaged, enthusiastic, and open to new experiences. The trip was more than just a holiday, it was a celebration of culture, connection, and the joy of language learning.
We’re already looking forward to the next adventure!
