Geva Mentor – outstanding netball player for England Roses. More recently, Christian Eriksen for his resilience and determination to return to professional football. Lastly, Sonny Bill Williams to be able to play multiple professional sports and to be a sporting hero.
Why did you get into teaching?
I wanted to be able to offer other students have the opportunities and experiences I had at school. I loved being a part of numerous sports teams.
What do you love about teaching at UHS?
No two days are the same. Students pushing themselves to achieve higher and getting them to be open to try new sports and opportunities but most of all the fantastic department to work in.
